What is the Salam Reward Program?

It is our way of saying thank you for your loyalty to Salam Stores.

How do I become a member?

You can sign up for the program on our website www.salams.com, or on the mobile app available on Apple Store and Google Play Store or in person at our stores. Signing up is free and members should be 18 years of age or older. The Salam Reward Program (and card) is strictly for personal use only.

How do I earn points?

Points are earned with every purchase made at any of the Salam Stores venues (department stores and boutiques) by presenting the card or the app at the cash counter during payment. Every 50 points is worth QR 1 for all tiers and tiers segmentation of % of points earned is broken down here.

How do I redeem points?

How do I move up tiers?

Upgrades to the next tiers are based on the value of purchases within a period of 12 months. The system automatically upgrades a member once the value of the cumulative purchases in a period of 12 months becomes eligible for the next tier. Information on the different tier levels can be found here and on the mobile app. Tier downgrades are also based on the value of purchases within a period of 12 months. The system automatically reverts a member to a previous tier once the value of the cumulative purchases in a period of 12 months is no longer eligible for the member’s current tier.

What are the exclusions to points collection?

Points collected will be reversed accordingly in the case of returned or refunded items. Payments with gift vouchers do not accrue towards points collection.

What are the exclusions to points redemption?

Points cannot be redeemed during any sale or promotional activities (unless otherwise stated), and, on returned and refunded items.

Do points expire?

Points expire automatically in 24 months from the collection date. If no points were collected or redeemed within a period of 24 months, the account will be deemed inactive and membership will be deactivated. The account can be reactivated on the next qualifying transaction (after the 24-month period). Points lost due to deactivation will not be reinstated upon reactivation.

What are eligible stores?

All fashion stores under the umbrella of Salam Stores are eligible stores for both points collection and redemption. A list of all eligible stores, and their corresponding locations can be seen here.

What are the eligible brands?

Most products sold in all eligible stores qualify as points collection purchases. A list of exceptions, including products and brands, are available for reference below. This list is updated on a regular basis.
